Beginner stream guide

Start using Soulstudio

Follow these steps even if you are not technical. You only need the Soulstudio app, the web dashboard, and TikTok Studio.

The basic idea

The Soulstudio app receives live events and TTS on your PC. The web dashboard manages settings and broadcast URLs. TikTok Studio shows those URLs as web page sources.

First setup

1. Run the Soulstudio installer

Unzip the download and run the Soulstudio installer. If Windows shows a security warning, confirm it is the file you received from Soulstudio, then choose More info and Run.

When setup finishes, you will see a Soulstudio icon on the desktop or Start menu.

2. Enter your license key

On first launch, enter the key that starts with LIC-. If you cannot find it, check your purchase email, payment page, or seller message.

When the license is accepted, Soulstudio runs in the background and opens the web dashboard.

3. Save your TikTok username

In the dashboard, enter your TikTok username without @. Soulstudio uses it for gifts, follows, likes, and comment TTS.

The broadcast readiness status starts turning ready step by step.

4. Copy broadcast URLs

Use the Copy URL button on subtitle, events, likes, media share, and gift-keeper cards. Do not edit long URLs by hand.

Copied URLs work in both TikTok Studio and OBS.

5. Add a web page source in TikTok Studio

In TikTok Studio, add a source and choose Web Page or Link Source. Paste the broadcast URL into the URL field.

For vertical streams, start around 1080 x 1920 and adjust position and size on the canvas.

6. Check audio

For TTS to go to the stream, TikTok Studio must capture PC audio or desktop audio. Press a test voice and watch the audio meter.

If you hear it locally but the meter does not move, TikTok Studio is missing the audio source.

7. Test before going live

Test subtitles, TTS, gift alerts, like hearts, media share, and gift-keeper overlays one by one.

If it appears in the test, it will use the same path during the live stream.

What goes into TikTok Studio

Subtitle URL: shows translated captions.

Events URL: shows gifts, follows, and superfan alerts.

Likes URL: shows heart effects.

Media-share URL: plays approved viewer videos.

Gift-keeper URL: shows capsule, relic, camera, or polaroid gift effects.

PC audio or desktop audio: sends TTS voice to the stream.

If TTS has no sound

If the Soulstudio app is closed, comments cannot be received.

You can change voices on the website during a live, but the Soulstudio app must stay open.

If you hear TTS on the PC but not on stream, check TikTok Studio audio sources.

For Spanish comments, choose a Spanish voice or Spanish random voice for natural pronunciation.

What each feature needs

Subtitles

The Soulstudio app must be running and your microphone must be selected.

TTS

The Soulstudio app must be running and TikTok Studio must capture PC audio.

Gift / follow alerts

Your TikTok username must be saved and the live stream must be active.

Like hearts

Add the likes URL to TikTok Studio. Likes trigger the heart effect.

Media share

Requires a viewer page and broadcast URL. Approval mode keeps it safer.

Gift keeper

Shows capsule, relic, camera, or polaroid effects when gifts arrive.

Check these first

Dashboard does not open

Run Soulstudio again and check for the ghost icon in the Windows tray.

Nothing appears on stream

Confirm the URL in TikTok Studio came from the web dashboard copy button.

Gift alerts do not appear

Check the TikTok username, live status, and whether the Soulstudio app is running.

TTS plays twice

Make sure the same URL was not added twice in TikTok Studio.

What to send support

Hide your license key and broadcast URLs, then send the dashboard screen, TikTok Studio source settings, and a short description of the issue.
